Meet our Board of Directors

Roger Allen, President

Roger Allen is a licensed psychotherapist in Massachusetts. He is semi-retired after having been the treatment director and the Director of Inmate Services at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility for twenty years. He currently has a private practice and is a clinical supervisor for clinicians at the Rhode Island Department of Correction.

 

Shari Hayes

Shari Hayes is a Vice President at Cape Cod 5 and has over twenty years of experience in commercial lending. Prior to joining Cape Cod 5 in 2010, Shari worked as a Commercial Lending Officer for another local banking institution. Earlier in her career, Shari worked in retail banking and as a Residential Mortgage Loan Officer. In her current role as Commercial Loan Officer with Cape Cod 5, Shari manages a portfolio of borrowers across a broad spectrum of industries and handles all facets of lending. She has expertise in SBA lending and financing affordable housing.

Jud Phelps, Vice President

Jud Phelps is a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor and helped to establish an outpatient counseling center for Gosnold and Barnstable County Drug Court, which he served for 20 + years. He recently retired as Director of Client Services of NAMI on Cape Cod. He graduated from Williams College with honors and was a Lieutenant in the US Naval Reserves years before a career in marketing with Proctor & Gamble.

 

Brendan Pike

Brendan Pike is an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod’s West Barnstable Branch. Brendan has helped innumerable clients address their borrowing needs throughout his career. He moved to the Cape and Islands in 2010 and has been putting those skills to use in our community ever since. Brendan has a desire to help those who endure the lasting stigma of incarceration take the necessary steps to reintegrate themselves into a society that often looks down upon them. After their debt to society is paid, he believes that every person deserves the opportunity to work towards a better future. He joined the Board of FAIR in September of 2021.

Diane Casey-Lee, Secretary

Over the past forty years, Diane Casey Lee identified critical unmet needs of pregnant and parenting teens, families struggling in poverty, abused and neglected children in foster care, incarcerated women and men, and the homeless. In leadership positions in CT and MA, she reached out to faith communities to provide emergency assistance through ministries established to care for people in their time of need.

 

Roberta Churchill

Barry Olofsson, Treasurer

Barry Olofsson is a retired Senior Manager from Lucent Technologies and has served as treasurer for several non profit organizations and is currently the Treasurer of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Barnstable. He is also a retired Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with a BS from Clarkson and an MBA from San Jose State University. Barry has a heart for sharing God’s love through programs that build dignity and independence.

 

Peter Gwynne

Peter Gwynne is a science writer and editor who has been a member of St. Mary's church for 25 years, volunteering in a variety of roles.

Libby Gibson Catania

Libby Gibson Catania is the co-director of Limina Renewal Center and most recently was rector of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Barnstable. She served there for 10 years with a special passion for social justice issues. Prior to moving to Cape Cod, Libby served churches in Virginia, and taught at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center and Virginia Theological Seminary.
